The APPG on Financial Markets and Services met this week for a very timely session titled “Unpacking Mansion House,” with The Rt Hon. the Lord Mayor Alastair King, hosted by Chair David Pinto-Duschinsky.

It followed Chancellor Rt Hon Rachel Reeves’ speech at the annual Financial and Professional Services Dinner at Mansion House on Tuesday, exploring the new Leeds Reforms and the Lord Mayor’s launch of the Employer Pension Pledge.

Parliamentarians also had the opportunity to dive into May’s Mansion House Accord, which saw seventeen workplace pensions providers sign a pledge to invest 10% of their portfolios in UK assets by 2030.
